Better Late than Never

I made this dress last summer but this is actually the very first time I have worn it. When I was making it, I had a hard time getting the hem how I wanted it. The same length all the around. It wasn't working out, this dress was just not cooperating with me. At the time. So I stuck it in my closet and never tried it on days, weeks or months later. I had it set in my mind that this dress wasn't going to work out. Why I didn't get rid of it, I don't know. I'm glad I didn't because after trying it on a couple of days ago I didn't find anything wrong with it. I actually liked the uneven hem. It kind of has a subtle high low affect to it. Moral of the story, if you don't like something, maybe wait a week or two and then try it on again, not 1 year. I could have been wearing this dress a lot sooner.
