Blooms from Me to You
Whether you are getting all dressed up and going out to a nice dinner or ordering a pizza and watching Netflix in your PJs, I hope you have the best night filled with lots of flowers and chocolates. Brent and I will be having a relaxing night in, hopefully putting a large dent into our growing movies-to-watch pile. And because everyone deserves flowers, here are some from me to you. Have a great weekend!

Happy Valentines Day & Sponsor Coupon Code!
Happy Valentines Day! To tell you the truth, I'm not a huge fan of this day, its too cheesy for me. But any excuse to dress up a little is alright in my books. So here I am, dressed up a little. I found these really cute vintage post cards while shopping in Snohomish a couple weeks ago and couldn't leave the store without them. They are so much better than the Valentine cards these days with Justin Beiber or someone else on them. My mom said that these were what she passed out as a kid. Lucky.
To show my special readers some love on this Valentines Day, how about 20% off all ad spots! Use code "MYVALENTINE". This would be a good and cheap way to get your blog or shop more exposure. And remember, large sponsors get their own spotlight post! Yep. Thats right.

Easy Valentines Day Morning Raspberry Puff Pastries
I have got the easiest most delicious recipe for you guys today, raspberry puff pastries. Seriously. These are so good! This is the perfect thing to make tomorrow morning for a sweet Valentines Day breakfast. That way you can eat them all day. I won't tell anyone.
Ingredients
Puff Pastry Sheets
Pie filling (I used raspberry but you can use whatever you want)
1 beaten egg
Turbinado Sugar
Glaze (1 cup powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla and 2 Tbs milk)
~Set your oven to 375*
~Line your baking sheet with parchment paper, if you don't have any you can grease it.
~Unfold the sheets and cut into 9 squares. You can cut down the lines in the sheet, then cut each strip into 3 squares. You will have 18 squares.
~Spoon 1 Tbs of your pie filling into the middle of each square. Be careful not to do too much, this can get a little messy!
~Fold the corners into the middle pinching them together. Pinch together 2 of the sides and leave the other 2 open for them to breath and spill out any excess pie filling.
~Brush egg wash onto each one and sprinkle a little Turbinado sugar onto each.
~Put into the oven for 15-20 minutes.

While those are baking, make the glaze by mixing together the powdered sugar, vanilla and milk.
Once the pastries are done baking, drizzle the glaze onto them while they are still hot.
~Enjoy!!~
These are so easy to make and so so good! Hope you guys enjoy them!

Valentines Day || Night Out
Still wondering what to wear for Valentines day? This outfit would be perfect for a night out at the movies with friends or just a casual date. The red pants (which are so so comfortable) are that perfect pop of Valentines day red and I wanted to pair it with something sweet, so I chose this lace top and gold bow belt. I think gold is the underrated color of this holiday. It goes perfectly with pink red and white and yet you don't see much of it this time of the year. Now I didn't want to be a walking Valentine, so I toned everything down with the leather jacket and black flats. You still have your traditional Valentines Day wear, but not overdone. Be sure to check out my last post, what to wear for a night in.

Valentines Day || Night In
As everyone is well aware of, Valentines Day is this Thursday. Yep. This Thursday. So whether or not you have a Valentine I have some outfit inspiration for you guys. Today, this is something I would wear for a casual night in with friends, maybe watching movies and playing games. Be sure to check back later this week for some inspiration if you have a casual date or even a more fancier one with that someone special. So for this outfit I just went with some comfortable black skinnies and Toms for the bottom half. I wanted something a little festive (cue the pink) and fun (time to shine, polka dots) and comfy. This sweater was perfect. Still Valentinesy but not overdone.
