The weather here the past couple of days has been unbelievably gorgeous. I have been spending the time outside, working in the garden and the greenhouse getting everything ready for new plants and seeds. It has been so nice to get away from the computer and outside for a change. This weather gets you super excited for Spring but it doesn't last until Spring. There is nothing but rain in the forecast starting tomorrow. I have been loving walking around the yard and seeing all of the bulbs coming up. The crocuses are even blooming right now! Only 19 more days until Spring!

Remember these guys? In September I went down to California to take their engagement photos. They got married December 20 in Zermatt, Switzerland and I was lucky enough to take their wedding photos. Here are a couple from that day. Enjoy!
Happy Friday! I hope everyone has some plans for today and weekend. I think I might head out to the greenhouse and clean some more. The weather is warming up, so I can start to grow some seeds now! I've got some poppy seeds that are dying to sprout! :) Have a good weekend!
It felt like spring during this day! So I brought out the bright floral skirt and mint baseball tee. It really made me want to go play some frisbee or baseball or something. I thought pictures at the sunny field was appropriate. I was able to take pictures without my sweater and be completely comfortable. I do wish we would get at least one more snow storm, but having this brief taste of spring felt nice. I can't wait to get back out in the garden and grow things and with the temps increasing, it means I can get back out in the greenhouse to clean it up and ready for little seedlings to grow!
Happy Valentines Day! To tell you the truth, I'm not a huge fan of this day, its too cheesy for me. But any excuse to dress up a little is alright in my books. So here I am, dressed up a little. I found these really cute vintage post cards while shopping in Snohomish a couple weeks ago and couldn't leave the store without them. They are so much better than the Valentine cards these days with Justin Beiber or someone else on them. My mom said that these were what she passed out as a kid. Lucky.
To show my special readers some love on this Valentines Day, how about 20% off all ad spots! Use code "MYVALENTINE". This would be a good and cheap way to get your blog or shop more exposure. And remember, large sponsors get their own spotlight post! Yep. Thats right.
I have got the easiest most delicious recipe for you guys today, raspberry puff pastries. Seriously. These are so good! This is the perfect thing to make tomorrow morning for a sweet Valentines Day breakfast. That way you can eat them all day. I won't tell anyone.
Puff Pastry Sheets
Pie filling (I used raspberry but you can use whatever you want)
1 beaten egg
Glaze (1 cup powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla and 2 Tbs milk)
~Set your oven to 375* ~Line your baking sheet with parchment paper, if you don't have any you can grease it. ~Unfold the sheets and cut into 9 squares. You can cut down the lines in the sheet, then cut each strip into 3 squares. You will have 18 squares. ~Spoon 1 Tbs of your pie filling into the middle of each square. Be careful not to do too much, this can get a little messy! ~Fold the corners into the middle pinching them together. Pinch together 2 of the sides and leave the other 2 open for them to breath and spill out any excess pie filling. ~Brush egg wash onto each one and sprinkle a little Turbinado sugar onto each. ~Put into the oven for 15-20 minutes.
While those are baking, make the glaze by mixing together the powdered sugar, vanilla and milk.
Once the pastries are done baking, drizzle the glaze onto them while they are still hot.
These are so easy to make and so so good! Hope you guys enjoy them!
My first photo a day recap! I didn't realize how hard this goal would be. I realized that I don't pictures very often but have slowly been changing that. Some of these are pictures that I took right before going to bed, realizing that I didn't take one earlier in the day. Oops. 1 month down, 11 to go.
