A Little Taste of Home

I can tell you right now that this outfit will be the most worn outfit of spring and summer this year. So quick and easy and oh so comfortable. I wore this out to breakfast yesterday with the boyfriend and some of his friends. We went to a little place in Moscow called The Breakfast Club. It was really good and tasted like the breakfasts at my parents restaurant back home. I may be a little biased when I say this, but Shays (their restaurant) really does have the best breakfast, and other places never seem to compare to it. But The Breakfast Club gave it a run for its money. It was like a little taste of home. (Literally) Too bad I had to discover this my last week here. Future reference though, right?

Last Day of Class || Snapshots

Yesterday was my last day of classes. I only had one class to go to. A 100 level course. We played mushroom jeopardy. Not a bad way to end five years of college classes at WSU.

So I wasn't going to take pictures yesterday. This jacket is over worn on here. But I just love it. It goes with everything. Anyways, before going to class that was the plan. No pictures. After class the plan changed because of some compliments I received. Thanks guys for the sweet comments after class :) (hopefully you're reading this...) So I had to take pictures. Now when I look back at these pictures, I can be reminded of the sweet things said that day. Guys, let's try and give more compliments. They can really change someones day and make someone feel good. Curled Hair and Maxi Skirts

I always seem to curl my hair when it is extremely windy here. So not that you can tell, but my hair is curled. I don't curl my hair often and wanted to see how it looked with a graduation cap (2 weeks!!!!) You will be happy to know that it looked good and my hair will be curled on graduation day :) I also wrapped it around the barrel for the first time. Loved it! I think I will be curling my hair more often. Now lets see if I can get that 45 minute curl time down a bit. 
Let's talk this skirt as well. If you don't have a knit maxi skirt like this you need to go get one. Like now. So comfortable. I plan on getting multiples and possibly making some.

Mom's Weekend

This past weekend was Mom's weekend here at WSU. My mom and grandma both came over for a couple days. Friday we went to the little town of Palouse and did some antique shopping. My teacup collection grew that day :) Palouse is such a cute little town and I will definitely be making the journey back there. It always nice when my mom comes over for these weekends and such a treat when my grandma decides to come too! She always keeps us in suspense about whether or not she is coming and usually doesn't make up her mind until the morning they leave. That's grandma for ya. Thanks guys for coming! See you in 2 weeks for graduation!

Dirt Roads, Green Hills and Blue Skies

I think I may have found my favorite location to take pictures at in Pullman. I couldn't bring myself to crop any of the photos and lose this background. Its gorgeous and the most perfect dirt road scenery on a blue sky day. And to think I almost didn't take pictures yesterday...
This weekend will be spent writing papers. I do believe this is my last weekend where I have to spend its entirety doing homework. After these two papers get written its smooth sailing to graduation. Almost there.

Fresh Flowers and Playgrounds

I think I need fresh flowers in all my posts from now on. I love what these daffodils add to the pictures. And I couldn't wait to get home and start editing them! Spring is definitely a better season to take pictures in. After these were taken I changed into some more play appropriate clothing and my boyfriend (the guy behind the camera) and I threw the frisbee around. The wind quickly stopped that and we made our way to the swings. Let me tell you. I LOVE swings. They are the greatest playground invention ever. Ever. So basically yesterday we were little kids playing on all the playground toys having the best time. Everybody needs to get out and play on the playground. Here I am 4 weeks away from graduating college and I can't wait to go swing again.
I'm off to go prune some plum trees at the organic farm. Hope you have a lovely Spring day!
